<p>The other day I watched a Discovery documentary with Stephen Harkins in which he invited three students to take part in a game with him, without any preconceived ideas, in which the program s producers, using HIGH-TECH equipment, tried to reproduce mechanisms of nature to explain the origin of life. Of course, there were always inserts defending the ideology of spontaneous evolutionism to explain not only life, but the entire functioning mechanism of the cosmos. The program was very didactic in explaining the universe and physics, leaving us amazed by universal mechanics. The crux of the matter is that Discovery, the BBC and the entire academic environment explain these wonders as being the work of chance, the irrational having created implacable laws of physics, chemistry, and biology. The problem of the origin of the universe and life is ideological.
