＜p＞The author explores these questions from a biblical perspective. Dr. Thiel uses scriptures from both the Old and New Testaments that define "lawlessness". Lawlessness is defined Biblically as violations of God's laws as opposed to violation of mankind's laws. And even though refusal to keep God's commanded Holy Days, for example, are a form of "lawlessness". In this book Dr. Thiel focuses on the violation of any one of the Ten Commandments as being an act of lawlessness. It is this violation that leads to death and is a determining factor in Matthew 7:23 when Jesus declares He never knew those who practice lawlessness: Matt 7:23 And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!' There is no other definition in the Bible of lawlessness than disobeying the Ten Commandments or any other commandment of God.
