<p><em>Church Life: Pastors, Congregations, and the Experience of Dissent in Seventeenth-Century England</em> addresses the rich, complex, and varied nature of 'church life' experienced by England's Baptists, Congregationalists, and Presbyterians during the seventeenth century.
